A bot is a wasteof.money account that reads and writes posts automatically. These bots take advantage of the wasteof.money API to respond to mentions, read and write chat messages, and read and write posts. They are allowed on the site, as long as they abide to the rules mentioned in this post.

History

The first plausible wasteof2 bot may be @autof4f , created at 9 August 2021. It was a bot that follows people when they follow it.[citation needed] Their origin is unknown, and it is unlikely that the account is automated.

The first confirmed wasteof2 bot is @pico-bot , created at 4 November 2021. It was a bot that shows the statistics of Scratch users and projects. It was created by @wasteof_time .
