VisualEditor is wasteof.money wiki’s rich text editor for wiki content. Most wiki users use this editor to edit wiki content because it is simpler to use than the source editor. You may still see “switched”, however, some users still prefer the source editor as it is easier to get exact changes, if you understand wikitext syntax.
